Canal Document Storage has the record storage and related life cycle services infrastructure in place to properly store physical medical records. In addition, our specialty services team provides prompt same day and next day delivery service, record retention & shredding services and document scanning.

SPECIALTY SERVICES

Currently, Canal Document Storage Records Management maintains the records storage & management contract for the # 1 ranked pediatric hospital in the region (based on volume and performance in pediatric specialties [*1]). The contract was awarded in 2005 and today our record storage center continues to provide a 98.8 percent timely daily retrieval rate to more than 30 divisions at 17 separate locations. Over 700,000 patient charts, hundreds of thousands of microfilm, x-rays, tapes and thousands of boxes of confidential health records are stored, picked-up and delivered routinely twice per day to and from the Canal Document Storage off-site facility.

Canal Document Storage makes it simple and easy to move your records to our off-site facility, just 7 miles from Downtown Chicago Loop, - We will pick-up your packed records and securely transfer them to one of our two secure, protected facilities. Your Records will be indexed into our online system for inventory and ease of request services. It's that Simple!... when you need your records back, you can request service via our online system and we can get them back via same day, next day or 2 day retrieval service.
